Seesaw is a free iPad app through which students can create a portfolio to document the things they have learned. Students can add artifacts to their portfolios by taking pictures of their work , by writing about what they've learned, or by shooting a short video to record something they have learned.
When I first learned about Seesaw, I thought it was an app for just primary grades. I have since learned that Seesaw is a great app for all grades and is an excellent way for students to create a digital portfolio. The other great thing about Seesaw is that it can be used on both the chromebooks and iPads. There are more functions on the iPads, but the students can still access Seesaw from the chromebooks.
